An AMV a day, keeps the mafia away...

I'm not totally sure if this is legit in the rules... but we should have a place to share our favorite amvs.

The following introduce me to two of my top twenty animes: the number one heart wrenching Kotoura-san [I started crying in the first few minutes of it and it has the best episode one ever] and Maoyuu Maou Yuusha.

I really like how well that first video's editing flows alongside the music, though I will say the different settings threw me off a little, even if the intended stories run sort of parallel. But I'm in love with smooth editing, so it was very nice!

Might watch the Big Hero 6 one, but I haven't seen the movie and I'm still debating if I want to sit down and watch it someday.

I just spent over an hour trying to dig through AMVs I've bookmarked, but I swear there's more somewhere... Hm. Starting with one most people have probably seen? But it's so good that I'll link it in case someone has not:

If I remember correctly, this is my first music video that I remember truly loving. It was back in the dark ages, and I was in high school. It made me make my first music video, through I never put it on the internet.

I have a deep love for AMVs with good pacing and nice songs. I think I've seen all of the ones mentioned here, except for Rasei's last one, and the one with Big Hero 6. (Wow, you're an AMV veteran.)

I wanted to share three videos of my favorite animes.

Barasa is an overlooked manga, that is wonderful. It has romance, an evil empire, and a plot to free Japan. Set in the future, after some cataclysm that set the world tech back to pre-modern times. The main story follows Sasara, who is the sister of the Chosen One. After  hearing rumors about that the Chosen One was still alive when he was thought to died 5 years ago, the Red King came to kill him. Tatara was killed, Sasara took his place literally, and starts the process to free Japan. She keeps meeting Shuri in different hot springs, and slowly falls in love with Shuri, not knowing Shuri is the Red King.It got a 13 episode anime. Warning the following video has some hotsprings:

The following video has some blood. Gintama... Gintama is like a bad gag show that you don't want to watch because all the stupidity, then it's hits a point where a character 'dies' and you go ahhhhhh! NO HOW BEEP DID I FALL IN LOVE WITH THIS! (It has brought me to tears well in both laughing to hard and being angsty) It's set ten years into the Meiji era after the samari lost to aliens. The following video has some spoilers due to the fact it's in the angsty side of stuff and there is blood in it:

Ghost Hunt is about a girl that breaks a camera and is hired to pay off the camera and letting a worker get hurt. The characters are lovely from sweet, innocent, orphan Mai to the mysterous leader Naru. It's amazing.

I know this isn't exactly a ANIME MV but I mention before that my favorite superhero was a Jerk with a Heart of Gold. That Superhero is Booster Gold.
