ROUND 4 SUBMISSIONS

If you're interested in hosting a game for Round 4, please post your setup below. You can either post your setup in its entirety in this thread, or post your setup in the WIP setups board and link to it here.

Round 4 will likely run one setup, since people don't seem inclined to join multiple games at once. If people really want to run two setups at once, though, we can make that happen (I've worked out a system for this, stay tuned).

Potential players, please do comment on setups and ask questions. It helps the host make sure their game is balanced.

Ok fine. Throwing my backburner idea into the ring. It is absolutely bonkers. You want to enter. Your inner skeleton demands it.

Mr. Tet's Skeleton Mafia

• Every role is a skeleton from some form of media or another.
  
  
• Everybody starts dead. (You are a skeleton.)
  
  
• Town are normal, decent, death-fearing Skelingtons.
  Mafia are Skeleton Ghosts. The ghosts of dead Skeletons.
  
  They want to take over the world.
  
  Of Skeletons.
  
  
• I, as Mr Bones, will be directly interfering with the game at random intervals based on a table of effects by rollin dem bones to determine them.
  
  
• Roles are separated into two sections, head and body.
  
  Head Abilities and Body Abilities both carry either an ability, a window for the ability or duration, or other interesting effect based on your base skeleton role.
  
  However
  
  Players may swap sections with other players either covertly or openly with differing amounts of risk. (You are skeletons, these kinds of things do not carry the health risk that they do with human beings with flesh and organs.)
  
  These swapped parts will create a unique role combination, or you may be swindled into receiving an effect that either does not work with your other effect, or a detrimental effect. (Skull Bomb / Not-So-Funny Bone)
  
  
• I will not be telling any of you what the roles are, unless a random effect is hit. You are going in blind. Because you have no eyes.
  
  
• If enough people sign up, I have neutral roles. They will be goofy as hell.

You Should Play If

1. You are not just ok, but enjoy(!?) non-standard games without a lot of seriousness involved.
   
   
2. You enjoy Skele-Fun with Skele-Puns.
   
   
3. You are up for a game that might take awhile depending on how often you guys swap body parts.
   
   
4. You are ok with completely off the wall stuff that may kill you or those close to you based only on the fact that I may have been drunk at the time I wrote the ability. I did not playtest this. Or have I even run this one before for that matter.
   
   
5. If you are malnourished. This game is high in calcium, and is good for your teeth and bones.
   

It doesn't matter if it doesn't. I will keep submitting this until it happens. You might as well get it out of the way now.

A reminder that the minigame section does not necessarily mean a small game but it allows anyone to host whenever they want and games submitted here are "not required to be balanced".

That said, if you want this to be an official game go for it.

I am volunteering to sit out of any closed role games this round if somebody would like to have a second opinion on balance, I make no promises that I will be able to accurately determine whether everything is balanced or not.

I did make Tet answer a few questions behind the scenes to make sure it wasn't completely imbalanced.

It'd make me feel better as an admin if we had people reviewing closed-role games, though.

@Cthuluhoop - Ahhh, if that's the case I might take you up on the offer! :> I was planning to pass it with someone else, but I think the more passes the better. Gotta make this game squeaky clean

Skeleton mafia is balanced akin to how Kiyo's roles from a hat game was balanced. There's crazy roles running around for everyone, but there's nothing akin to "Rocks fall you die". The power needle might just be further forward for both sides than most games if not just by virtue of it being something wildly different.

I might take you up on that balance opinion offer. Just because I haven't playtested this yet doesn't mean I won't have to in the future before play and more eyes on it would be really helpful.
